OTHER WRITING
As a journalist with over twenty years of experience, I have written for numerous publications on a wide variety of topics. Though I write regularly on cancer and treatment, I also frequently cover entertainment, parenting, education, and mental health. I am the recipient of the 2020 Walter J. Alvarez Award, and I’ve been an Online Journalism Award and Skin Cancer Foundation Media Award nominee.
In my capacity as a senior writer for Salon, I covered breaking news, did longform journalism, and wrote personal essays. I’ve also appeared in the New York Times, The Guardian, Time, the Los Angeles Times, Wired, Yoga Journal, and other national and international newspapers and magazines.
These are a few of the stories I’ve been proud to put my name to.
